I have been running regular oil since I bought my truck (ram 3500 6.7 diesel 4 x 4) I have been changing it every 10,000 miles but all highway miles since I use it for hot shot & currently at over 1.1 million miles on it.

I bought a new Tacoma last year and Toyota wanted me to have them change the motor oil at 10,000 miles . They included two free changes with the truck.I insisted on it being changed at 5000 which they agreed to do. But what is there logic behind this policy?

One thing to note. Most batteries off the shelf might only be 80 - 90% charged. If you can charge it up to full capacity before replacing it'll be easier on your alternator.

I was in Oregon last week, homeless tents and homeless RVs, all over the place,and no license plate on the vehicles and run down. The middle class is done out there. In Oregon, you're either really rich or really poor. Cars that stolen in Oregon people don't want them back cause fentanyl are on the people clothes that steal them . My cousin has his car stolen from a repair shop and while it was being worked on. The car was tested for fentanyl test positive, and he junk the car he has a wife three kids.

I am from Kuwait and the temperature in summer reaches... 122 F to 140F I have a GMC Sierra 2500 HD The GMC agent in Kuwait says that I need to change the car’s oil and filter every 10000 miles! He also says that there is no need to change the transmission oil at all! Knowing that the transmission temperature in the summer reaches about 203 F He says it is the recommendations of the manufacturer in America! How is this possible? With the high temperatures here? It is considered the hottest spot on planet Earth!

My sister bought one of these. A month later she had an accident, they Totaled it! Was real nice though. Awesome mpg!

On my Mazda 3, it will slow down when a car is turning in front of you. That’s nice, but after the turning car is off the road, it still wants you to stop. Not good with traffic behind you.

I refuse to buy one. I see charging stations popping up everywhere but I don't see security at any of them. Especially the ones at park & rides. The entire time you have to sit there charging your car you're a sitting duck for a thief or rapist. Sure there's the people who say "charge it at home", what does YOUR homeowners insurance say about it? Ours doesn't want them charged in a garage or within 20 ft of the house. And the agent clearly pointed out that they take special fire extinguishers. Not only because they are an electrical fire but because they can reach temps of more than 1,800° F & they reignite. There's been studies showing them reigniting up to a month later & while fully submerged. So no thank you, I don't want to be a guinea pig either. And IDC how popular they are with younger generations, I won't be buying my teen 1 for her 1st car.

I own a bmw and they are wonderful cars, but they need maintenance. I tell people if you can’t fix a bmw yourself, don’t buy one unless you have a lot of money. That engine will last as long as a Toyota engine, but it needs to be maintained like a materialistic girlfriend. The steering code, just turn the wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right and you’re all set. These cars are complicated with electronics. BMW has modules to protect everything so nothing catches fire. I love my bmw and it has been great to me.

93 vs 87 Oct will actually take you further down the road, you’ll get better mileage, by my estimates much as 10-20% for long trips.

Scotty if i could pick your brain for a minute. My car battery dies overnight, ive tested the alternator and the battery and both read fine, the cells look fine, i think i have a parasitic draw. How do i check?
